This will be extremely shallow coverage of the first steps required. nThis Saturday July 18 at 2:00 PM, Hive13 will recieve a visit from Shae Erisson of Makers Local 256 in Huntsville Alabama. Shae is touring U.S. makerspaces, comparing differences and learning about their structure.nnShae will provide an introductory talk covering the Haskell programming language.nnHaskell is a programming language that is different because it is pure, lazy, and has a powerful and friendly type system. The presentation will focus on those differences and additionally discuss libraries, community, and commercial use.nnAfterward, there may be informal discussion of hackerspaces Shae has visited, and of Hive13’s organization (or lack thereof).
